What made mom's birthday dinner celebration even more special was a thought shared from my dear friend and coworker Holly Hanewall: "Happy birthday to a wonderful Mom, wife, grandmother and a person who represents the best in the human spirit. For all you have shared of your gifts and wisdom...You are most appreciated. For having raised your family to love one another and others, I applaud you! God bless you Judy!"
Midwest Home Care provides flexible in-home care for aging family members, as well as those suffering from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Our staff is professional and well trained, but most of all we recognize that the person we are caring for is a person and is part of someone's family. That person has a rich life history full of stories and experiences. So we work hard to help where help is needed while at the same time encouraging independence and prolonging a good quality of life.

Mom's birthday dinner celebration was a memorable event. I enjoyed it in the spirit of ......'if today was my last day...or her last day...or any loved one's last day.'Isn't this how.... we are to live our lives?
